| Our goal is to make you sparkle and we put our reputation on the line to make sure we accomplish our goal! If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. All returns are subject to inspection by our Quality Control Team to insure that the item returned is in its original condition and must still have the Fire Island Gems security tag attached. If the item returned was given as a gift, the recipient will receive a merchandise credit as for security purposes, processed payments can only be credited to the original source of payment.
Exclusions: Any item that has been altered, customized or engraved can not be accepted for return.
Processing a return:
Please email customer service to secure a return authorization number so that we may properly and efficiently process your return. The return authorization number is imperative for us to process your transaction in a correct and timely fashion. Indicate this number on your packing invoice, include that invoice with your return and please mark on the form the reason for your return. Any items returned without an RA# can not be accepted.
It is clearly important to you as a customer and to Fire Island Gems as a merchandise provider that items are returned safely. To this end, please ship your package back to us thru USPS Registered Mail, return receipt requested. We strongly suggest you insure your return for the full invoice value. Until we receive and sign for the package, the responsibility for the items returns lies with the customer. Upon receipt and inspection we will credit your refund. This process generally takes 3-4 weeks. Bear in mind that this timeframe is not reflective of Fire Island Gems, but rather the length of time it takes for the credit card companies to issue the return credit, so please be patient.
